Don't think about it, just live in the moment, be grateful for what you have, and get out of your own way!
Happy people are usually healthy people. Happy people are always in demand! Happy people realize that the only thing that can make them unhappy is themselves.
Hustle 4 Happiness and forget about self improvement. If you have been seeing a Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Guru, Spiritual Leader, Motivator or Doctor for over a year and you still have the same issue- find another option. Most people have a tendency to become habitual and stick with someone they know, even though the ability for results has long passed. Look for someone that will give you the tools you need to make you happy without being dependent on them!!!!
Hustle 4 Happiness and focus on what is positive about you rather than trying to fix what is not. Think about your 5 strengths and work on those, it will make you happier!
Hustle 4 Happiness by taking the worst-case scenario, and using it to your advantage. Normally, when you accept the worst-case scenario, it never happens!
Go see a sad movie. Once you realize things can always be worse, it makes you feel better.
Hustle 4 Happiness when commuting to work. Many people spend a lot of time commuting to work. Pick a mode of transportation you enjoy- riding a bike, walking, public transportation etc. If you drive to work in a car and experience heavy traffic, don't focus on the traffic, put on your favorite tunes, make sure your seat is adjusted properly (check to see if your seat has lumbar support), sing along, and focus on what you are grateful for, not on what is happening around you at that moment. The time spent in your car during traffic can be stressful (especially for the drivers around you). Don't let their actions affect your happiness. Ignore the cars flying by you at 90 miles an hour, or the motorcycles cutting in and out of traffic. Take a deep breath, think happy thoughts, and start your commute…… happily.
When you Hustle 4 Happiness you can help people or other living things. When you help someone, or help another living thing, you will feel happier. When you take care of a stray cat or stray dog in your neighborhood, deliver a meal to a neighbor who cannot go out, or help a friend in need- it will make you feel happier.
Hustle 4 Happiness, grin and bear it. Studies show that when you grin or smile, it can shift you from an unhappy place to a happy place. Try a happy grin or smile next time things are not going the way you want or you feel unhappy.
Hustle 4 Happiness and spend a few minutes a year reviewing issues with your partner. Yes, we said a few minutes a year! Discuss those issues as a "third party". How would a third party see the issues before them?
Hustle 4 Happiness and keep yourself healthy. When you are not feeling well, it is more difficult to be happy. Eat properly, take supplements that work, get some sort of exercise- walking, gym, sports, yoga, etc. Take an evening walk by yourself, with your pet, or with someone else (if you have kids, bring them along). Go to the gym (a place like 24 hours fitness is open around the clock) Make sure you get a good nights sleep (tomorrow is another day, and be thankful for what you have).
Happiness heads south for Women at about 40, and bounces back in early 50's, so find things you like to do and prioritize them- If you like to Golf, Read, Cook, Surf, Exercise, Dance, etc prioritize what makes you the most happy and do those things first. For Guys, happiness is a daily Yoyo. Try to maintain consistency, don't be too Happy, or Sad. A new car will not get you more girls, if you are married, don't take your mate for granted, and make time for the kids. Dedicate time and prioritize what makes you happy- Racquetball, watching sports, poker, reading, team sports, exercise, etc (pick the things that make you the happiest and focus on those things).
You are not going to find Happiness buying stuff (not even our T-Shirt, Supplements or Music). Happiness comes from within. If you must buy stuff, buy it, and then wait to use it (except for supplements- take those right away). It is like using chips in Las Vegas, it does not seem like real money, so you spend it a bit more freely, and enjoy it. Same goes for purchases, if you can buy it, and then wait to use it, it will seem like you got it for free because the pain of paying for it is long gone!
